Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Asgard Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, United States, with registered office at 1209 Mountain Rd NE, Suite N, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110 ("Asgard Group", "we", "us") is a software company. We build and licence infrastructure to proprietary trading firms and related businesses. We are not a broker, not a proprietary trading firm and not a financial services provider.

2. Two different situations

It matters which one applies to you, because our role is different in each.

a. You are a visitor to this website

We decide what is collected here and why. That makes us responsible for it, and this policy governs it.

b. You are a trader using a platform operated by one of our clients

The firm you signed up with decides what data is collected and why. We process it on their instructions as their service provider. Your relationship, and your rights, are with that firm — their privacy policy applies, not this one. If you contact us directly we will refer you to them, because we are not permitted to act on their data without their instruction.

3. What we collect on this website

• What you send us. If you use the contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to include: typically your name, your firm, your email address and whatever you tell us about your project.
• Aggregate analytics. Page views and general usage, measured without cookies and without identifying you individually.

We do not buy contact data, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell anything to anyone.

4. Why we use it

• To reply to you and to prepare a proposal, when you have asked us to.
• To keep a record of our commercial discussions and agreements.
• To understand, in aggregate, whether this website is doing its job.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating our business, or the performance of a contract where one exists.

5. Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need in order to operate: website hosting, email, analytics and the messaging or scheduling tools you choose to use to reach us. They act on our instructions and only for these purposes. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are kept only as long as they are commercially useful and then deleted. Records relating to contracts are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format or to object to our use of it. Write to hello@asgardgroup.fund and we will respond.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

8. International transfers

Asgard Group is established in the United States and some of the providers we use operate there. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we do so using the safeguards required by applicable law.

9. Identity documents

Where our clients use identity verification as part of their onboarding, those documents are handled by the specialist verification provider and are not stored by Asgard Group.

10. Security

We use managed cloud infrastructure with access control, monitoring and backups. No system is perfect, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something — but the measures we take are proportionate to the fact that our platform touches money movement.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update it here. Material changes affecting clients will be communicated directly.
